Travis Kelce wedding ring spotted at Chiefs preseason alongside Cartier Santos

Travis Kelce’s Travis Kelce wedding ring made its first proper public appearance at the weekend, when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end walked into Arrowhead Stadium for the team’s inaugural preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams wearing a full stack of gold hardware.

The 36-year-old was photographed arriving at the stadium on Saturday in a matching black-and-gold Amiri set, a chunky bracelet on his right wrist, and on his left, a Cartier Santos Skeleton. On his ring finger, clearly visible for the first time since the ceremony, sat a gold wedding band. The ring had been conspicuously absent when Kelce was photographed at the Chiefs’ training camp earlier in the summer, making Saturday’s arrival the clearest look yet.

The Travis Kelce wedding ring: a first proper look

Kelce and Taylor Swift married at Madison Square Garden on 3 July. Details have emerged gradually: Adam Sandler officiated, Paul McCartney performed, and at an August 12 press conference, Kelce described the evening as the ‘best night of my life,’ ‘crazy,’ and ‘full of a lot of celebration.’ That was largely the extent of what either has said publicly about the event.

The Cartier Santos Skeleton on Kelce’s wrist will be familiar to anyone who followed his contract negotiations earlier in the year. It is the same watch he wore when he signed his current one-year, $12 million deal with the Chiefs in March, making it something of a recurring presence at his bigger moments.

Swift was photographed the same Saturday in England, attending a friend’s wedding. Stacked above her diamond engagement ring was a gold band matching her husband’s, the first clear confirmation that both are wearing coordinated rings.

Gold bands and a summer of weddings

The couple are not alone in debuting new hardware this summer. Tom Holland and Zendaya were recently spotted wearing similarly matching gold wedding rings, having taken a break from press commitments for The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Kelce’s outfit on Saturday rounded out the look with a pair of Amiri pieces and Off-White x Nike Air Prestos, keeping the gold theme consistent from wrist to ring finger. The Santos Skeleton, the wedding band, and the bracelet on the opposite wrist formed a considered stack rather than an accidental one.

Beyond the jewellery, Saturday marked Kelce’s first public appearance at a Chiefs event since the marriage, and his arrival at Arrowhead drew the sort of attention the preseason game itself rarely generates. The wedding ring, now confirmed and on full display, adds to what the report described as the ‘three Super Bowl rings he’s won with the Kansas City Chiefs’, a fourth piece of new hardware, though one earned in rather different circumstances.

Kelce’s press conference comments on 12 August remain the most he has said about the ceremony in public, and Swift has offered nothing beyond the photographs taken of her in England that same weekend. For now, the rings are doing most of the talking.
