Abercrombie & Fitch Co.‘s activewear line YPB (Your Personal Best) has launched a multi-season YPB Barry’s activewear collaboration with Barry’s, the HIIT workout studio brand, releasing a debut collection designed to carry you from Barry’s signature Red Room circuits straight into the rest of your day.
Six men’s styles and 12 women’s styles make up the first drop, a total of 18 pieces built around performance fabrics for sweat-drenched treadmill runs and weight-based floor work, alongside a handful of cool-down pieces that pass comfortably in everyday wear. The collection is available now online and at select Abercrombie & Fitch stores, with a wider release on Barrys.com and at Barry’s locations globally on 15 October 2026.
What’s in the YPB Barry’s Activewear Collaboration for Men
The six men’s pieces cover the full arc of a session. The Active Cotton-Blend Muscle Tank ($45) is the lightest layer, built for movement and loose enough to let air through during steep treadmill inclines. Step up to the powerSOFT Tee ($35) if you prefer a little more coverage without adding weight; the fabric is designed to manage sweat through the heavier floor work. Both sit at a price point that makes losing one to the laundry less of a tragedy.
The Unlined Momentum motionTEK Training Short ($60) has a hidden zip pocket, which matters when your phone is the only thing standing between you and a PR set. Pair it with either top and you have a full kit that handles the Red Room’s demands without looking out of place on the walk home.
For the cool-down, the collection offers three pieces cut from the neoKNIT MAX fabric. The Half-Zip Sweatshirt ($85) and Popover Hoodie ($85) sit close enough to technical gear to justify wearing them into the studio, and casual enough to keep on after. The Relaxed Straight Bottom ($85) completes the set: wide enough to pull over gym shorts and comfortable enough that you will not rush to take it off.
Mobile Studio Pop-Up and Studio Takeover
The launch extends beyond the shop floor. According to Abercrombie & Fitch Co., YPB will serve as the first official sponsor of Barry’s newly launched Mobile Studio, partnering on a pop-up experience in Austin, Texas, on 2 and 3 October 2026. The timing is tied to Austin City Limits, meaning the Mobile Studio will land in the middle of one of the year’s busier outdoor gatherings in the city.
The collaboration then moves to New York. From 9 through 11 October 2026, YPB by Abercrombie and Barry’s will take over Barry’s NoHo studio, offering a further on-the-ground presence ahead of the global retail release on 15 October. Both activations give people a chance to actually train in the kit before it hits Barrys.com, which is a more honest introduction to a workout collection than a product page ever manages.
The multi-season structure of the partnership means this first drop is framed as an opening chapter rather than a limited run. Whether the subsequent collections push the technical side further or lean harder into the crossover casual angle, the initial range makes a reasonable case that YPB and Barry’s are covering the same ground: the blurry line between a gym kit and the clothes you wear the rest of the day.
