Situated by bournemouth pier our camera gives unrivalled views of the Surf next to the Pier and also pans across from east to west along the coastline.Bournemouth beach has a lot going on throughout the summer, so stayed peeled for the best view!

We are at the early stages of planning a foamy board fun competition for all abilities, normal competition rules won`t apply, in fact there will be very little rules except some odd ones!!
This will be followed by a swimming pool party, at On The Rocks, with BBQ, music and award ceremony for all the mayhem, sorry we mean great skills displayed in the competion earlier on. well done guys, this is a brilliant addition to your other fantastic webcams. sometimes the forecastors get it wrong and you cant beat a good eye on the current conditions. the anemometers on poole harbour and parkstone yacht club websites are great for harbour conditions but they never pick up an accurate live wind speed for bay conditions. with your new bournemouth webcam it will certainly help me in deciding whether to kitesurf bay side. i live 10 miles away from the coast and it can be very frustrating driving all the way down to the bay to then find out there is not enough wind. thanks richard

Fantastic webcams. I’m an expat. living in the French Alps. I lived and worked in Poole many years ago and find it great to be able to look at Poole Harbour / Bournmouth in real time. Great initiative – keep it up!

As mentioned above, I have installed a new broadband line at the camera, so it may be a bit jittery to start with. In the next couple of weeks it may go down due to the inevitable fine tuning that will be needed. Enjoy!
